I met up with a friend recently who has Fibromyalgia (FMS). She was having trouble taking medicines that her physician prescribed. Oh, she could swallow the pills, but that wasn't the problem.
She was experiencing adverse side effects caused by one or more of her drugs. Some of the side effects made taking the drugs impossible to live with. Other side effects made her only somewhat miserable.
Here is the same suggestion that I gave her:
In either case, if you're having adverse symptoms that you suspect are resulting from your prescription meds, ask you doctor to carefully review everything you're taking (even supplements). He likely has other medications in the same class and that can do approximately the same thing -and- they may not cause you the same unpleasant side effects. Such an investigation is worth your and his time and attention.
It's up to you and your doctor to work this out. Don't go it alone and continue to suffer. Letting this situation continue could be dangerous.
AND if you're experiencing the same problem, here are two other things you can do....
Feel free to check out a video I've made about drugs, doctors and the medical profession!
Then come back to the Health Matters Show and catch the episode that aired on Sept. 12th with Dr. Freida Eng. She was and is fantastic!
I invite you to post your comments.
Here's to your improving health,
