By Thursday, Sept 11, 2008, I will be traveling by car and airplane from Roanoke, Virginia, to Los Angeles, California. It's both a fun trip and a business mission.
I expect to accomplish many things and maybe that's the message for today's blog post.
We get out of an experience both what we put into it, plus what we expect to discover.
As you go about your day today, whether it's at home or on the road, do it with purpose.
You may have to go below the superficial first layer of everyday life to find out what your purpose is. If your best and most noble purpose is to clean your house like you haven't cleaned it in weeks (or maybe months), do it thoughtfully. Feel what it means to you. Look forward. What I mean by that is look out into the future moments and days after this exercise and feel what it will be like to experience the accomplishment.
Now some of you may think I'm crazy because you can't even sweep a simple floor. If that's the case, apply this idea to the purpose and end result of living your day as healthy as you can be. If you eat a meal, eat it with the purpose of nourishing you. Drink good, clean and pure water with the aim of it replenishing each cell in your body with the moisture needed to be healthy.
Be purposeful in traveling down your personal road to living and ultimate health.
Thank you, Cinda Crawford
