Do not presume that your prayers are not answered, because they are. It is up to you to receive and listen.
(Quoted from Entering the Castle, an Inner Path to God and Your Soul by Caroline Myss.)
In seeking your personal truth, I urge you to make time to practice real silence. Still yourself through the practice of mindfulness, meditation and/or deep breathing.
Truly silence everything about you: your voice, body and, especially, your mind. If you have to, retreat to a hidden corner of the world which is quiet and peaceful. You deserve the luxury. In silence it is easier to find the answers to life's questions.
Silence virtually begets an increased awareness of truth. And what is most astounding to learn is that this truth is both part of your original existence and your future. You had it in you all along!
Breathe, bring the movement of your being down, down until you are unimportant.
Simplicity. Truth. Life.
Discover the holiness of living and you find the only gift that matters... your relationship with the Creator and what He has to teach you. Attune your hearing to distinguish the one voice that you long to hear, that of the Divine.
One way or the other, you will hear it. (In this case, hearing means knowing.)
Your prayers will be answered. This truth with arrive entertwined with the knowledge of all of your life's mysteries. The answers may come all at once or, more often, come one at a time when you're ready to hear them.
Having this knowing and becoming aware of your truths likely will astound you and rock your world.
Accept this precious gift.
As you become aware of both why and how healing manifests, feel very blessed. Healing will come to you (healing will begin in you) at the perfect moment-- when you're ready to learn your life's lessons and when you're ready to continue on your journey.
(BONUS EXTRA: If you're ready to learn more about the power of personal mindfulness, pick up either a copy of Jon Kabat-Zinn's, Full Castrophe Living directly from the Cinda Recommends section on the left side of this website -or- his meditation CD produced with Andrew Weil entitled, Meditation for Optimum Health: How to Use Mindfulness and Breathing to Heal Your Body and Refresh Your Mind. I thank you for reading this series on prayer, healing and personal life discovery. It means a lot to me to share this information.

Thanks for your comment. As for me, I can't "hear" Him unless I am quiet. This world is pretty noisy. I see you're interested in poetry. Is any of it along these lines?
