Fibromyalgia Syndrome is not a terminal condition. Some people get over it and go on with their lives. Some people keep suffering. Others get worse and watch their health decline further.
If Fibromyalgia (as a disease/illness entity) does not kill anyone (meaning it's not terminal), why do so many people never get better?
What do you need to know to have a good chance of improving your life--and maybe--recovering?
Okay. Let's start off by playing a what-if game... what if the quality of your life eroded and got worse, the drama in your life story intensified and your future changed for the worse? Unless you make the right choices now, you might never get another opportunity to come back and do it right. Help... My life's in a tailspin!
*It's critical that you learn the important need-to-know facts about Fibromyalgia. The fluffy stuff that's batted around is not important, so put it out of your mind now. All you want to do is feel better and reclaim your life.
Your assignment from last week: You started a personal list. What life points did you focus on? Are all of them really important now that you've listed them or did you include any points that actually don't matter?
If you did, cross them out now. Eliminate them completely from your list so that you can concentrate on what's crucial. You need to get to the crux of the problem and, if you're less distracted, you have a better chance of getting this right.
Keep working on your list and check back next week to compare your answers to mine, the author's. Maybe you'll come up with some ideas that I don't. If so, submit them. Get recognition for your hard work while you're growing and getting control over your illness!
