People with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome have illness symptoms that make life pretty tough. If you're like most of them, you need support in your daily life to help you manage. You can find that support in 2 places:
1) Friends and Family, and
2) Support Groups, both online and off-line
(7 min 45 seconds)
First, it's important to address the urgency of keeping in touch with friends and family and maintaining close relationships. If we don't make the effort to reach out for our loved ones, they may not return the favor when we need them. That would be sad.
Second, if we've overlooked the value of belonging to a Support Group of some kind, we may want to investigate how doing so would benefit our life.
On the show today, we discuss support groups, both off-line and online, how they can help you avoid feelings of abandonment and neglect and how they can really get you going in a positive direction.
Let's reach beyond ourselves... way out to the world... and Keep In Touch with each other! We'll be healthier and happier.
