Hey, folks,
I'm hurrying to get the broadcast up and ready for you today. There's so much going on out in the world, it's hard to keep up! You ask, "What could possibly be that important?"
It's because Monday, May 12, 2008, is Fibromyalgia Awareness Day -and- it's Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Awareness Day!
I'm excited and I hope you are, too. This is our day to shine :-) If you're wondering how this special day affects you or your friends, read on. I'll give you shocking statistics and make a suggestion of how to celebrate the occasion.
To hear my full report, click on the podcast/ audio file and listen to some shocking figures.
You're not alone in your struggle to get better and reclaim your life. Hopefully, this type of "awareness" is what the American public needs to see that we really do need help, why we need their involvement and how "helping us" benefits them, too.
Longterm, chronic illness is not only expensive for you, but it's a proverbial economic anchor for the nation. If we can use that fact to our advantage, help the powers-to-be to pay more attention to the issue and, therefore, help us get well, let's do it.
Now be vocal and celebrate Your Day!
