Concept #2: The human body is the product of the Creator. He made us to be healthy and gave our bodies the capacity to heal.
But, sometimes the body seems to lose that innate ability to fix itself. Why? What do we do? Did we do something to cause this failure?
In the best of circumstances, the body makes constant use of its intelligence to manifest a superbly orchestrated guidance system that seeks out its enemies, destroys them and then maintains itself (the body) in harmonic balance.
The result is the perfect answer: no harm, no foul, no sickness and no disease. All of us experience this everyday; most of the time we are not aware of the activity of our immune system or any other autonomic components of the body.
But we are aware that often our bodies are struggling to maintain our health. We wonder why it doesn't function as well one week as it does the next.
Psst......is there more at work than the fact that we're run down from too much stress or we've run into a tough bug- or- virus?
Yes. (Check out Concept #3 for more answers.)

Could it be that my body "stop remembering" how to keep me healthy? My health seems to be getting worse. I'm now 42.
Thanks

Susan, I am so sorry I didn't see your question. I'm happy to share my knowledge.
Yes, it is possible that your body has lost some of it's innate (what you were born with) ability to heal and be healthy. This is usually caused when someone undergoes a "lot" of trauma, either emotional, physical, etc.
My health took a dramatic turn for the worst when I was 39. I had had major trauma and psychological job pressure and I think it finally got to me.
I thank God everyday that he provided the knowledge and means to get me well. I wish better health for you, my friend!
Thanks for your reply. Cinda
